Samsung will unveil five ‘power' gadgets at August 5 Unpacked event

Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5.Mobile division President TM Roh has proven that the agency will announce five "power gadgets" during the virtual presentation. He didn't supply specifics, but did hint at earbuds ("on your ears") and a smartwatch ("in your wrist") besides smartphones.

As it stands, there are many clues as to what to anticipate. The star of the show might be the Galaxy Note 20 series, the newest era of Samsung's pen-toting flagship phone. It's rumored to be coming in 6. 7-inch standard and 6. 9-inch Plus/Ultra variants, all of which might have flatter displays than the Note 10 family in addition to well known camera bumps. These camera arrays could include a 108MP main sensor on the Plus and Ultra, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and (at least on the Ultra) a 13MP periscope cam for long-range shots.

You could also expect features inherited from the Galaxy S20 range, adding the Snapdragon 865 chip, 12GB or more of RAM, and an in-exhibit fingerprint reader. There may even be larger batteries (4,300mAh for the bottom model) and a minimum 256GB of integrated garage.Samsung's plans beyond the Note lineup may be more exciting. The agency has already teased a next-technology foldable, absolutely the Galaxy Z Fold 2, for the event. It's rumored to be a subtle but welcome evolution of the usual with a much larger 6. 2-inch external display, a 120Hz 7.7-inch internal reveal, and camera expertise that may be shared with the Note 20.There will be some wearables, too. The Galaxy Buds Live would represent a higher technology of Samsung's true instant earbuds with a "bean" design, active noise cancelation and built-in fitness tracking. The Galaxy Watch 3, in the meantime, could update Samsung's top-end smartwatch with a a bit smaller case than the original watch (with similar displays) and contours borrowed from the Watch Active 2. You might see blood pressure monitoring and ECG applications besides anticipated GPS and heart rate facets.

Android Authority will needless to say be reporting on all of the bulletins as they happen, so stay tuned.
